The HALE® PCMH-45 is a large and powerful humidifier with a water connection, suitable for large areas such as open-plan offices, common areas, production facilities, assembly halls, and similar spaces.

This humidifier is easy to use, and filling it with water is straightforward. Use a bucket, measuring cup, watering can, or similar. You don't need to carry a water tank to the tap to fill it. It is also possible to connect it to a permanent water supply.

How does this humidifier work?

Inside the HALE® PCMH-45, there is a large wheel that rotates slowly. This wheel draws water upwards and has a large surface area, allowing the water to evaporate easily. In this way, the amount of humidity is automatically adjusted. Warm, dry air will absorb a lot of moisture, and as the humidity increases, less and less water will be transferred. This significantly reduces the risk of adding too much humidity, which can sometimes be an issue with ultrasonic humidifiers.

The fan can be adjusted in three steps, depending on the desired fan speed. Even at the lowest setting, the unit evaporates a large amount of moisture. Please note that the unit has a very powerful fan motor and moves a lot of air. It should only be used in larger areas where there is a significant need for good air circulation.

2-stage air filtration for a better indoor climate

The HALE® PCMH-45 has an air-purifying effect with its filter combination of an evaporative filter and a carbon filter. The air drawn into the machine passes through the rotating evaporative filter, ensuring that larger pollutants in the air are collected. As the filter circulates in the water tank, impurities are released and sink to the bottom of the water basin. The unit is also equipped with a carbon filter to remove odors. Filters should be replaced as needed, approximately once per humidification season, and can be ordered here at Bedre Inneklima.

No risk of Legionella

According to the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, humidifiers where water evaporates from a filter do not pose a risk of infection. The HALE® PCMH-45 is such a humidifier, and therefore poses no risk of infection.

Maintenance

Frequent and regular cleaning will extend the life of the humidifier. It is important to keep the pads clean and replace them at least once a year, depending on their quality. This depends, among other things, on local pollution and how much the humidifier is used.

Failure to adhere to recommended maintenance may compromise the product's components.
