Safe from Legionella
Many humidifier users are concerned about Legionella bacteria and other diseases that can spread from stagnant water. This is not a problem with the Boneco Rocket E200. Evaporative humidifiers are 100% safe and cannot spread such diseases. Legionella is spread through droplet transmission, and since this is an evaporative humidifier, there are no droplets. It is therefore 100% safe.
The included Ionic Silver Stick® utilizes the antibacterial effect of silver and ensures perfect water quality.
Quiet around the clock
The engineers among us will understand that a fan with a DC motor is somewhat more expensive to purchase, but it is much quieter than a regular fan. Everyone will appreciate the low noise level. You can easily adjust the fan speed to suit your surroundings.
Low power consumption
Thanks to the efficient DC motor, this humidifier uses little power. It can use as little as 2.2 Watts. At full power, it uses 5.7 Watts. This will not be noticeable on your electricity bill.
What happens when it runs out of water?
You should fill your humidifier regularly, and with this one, it's very easy to do. What happens if you forget, or go to the cabin without filling the humidifier first? The answer is: Nothing. When it runs out of water, it turns itself off, and you can safely fill it again when you return and continue where you left off.
Useful accessories
You get a Boneco Silver Stick that ensures the water stays clean and safe. This should be replaced once a year.
Those with a lot of lime or minerals in their water may find that all humidifiers are difficult to keep clean. In that case, it's good to know that Boneco has CalcOff which helps remove lime and minerals that tend to build up over time.
The evaporative mat is easy to clean, but after a long time, it may become necessary to replace it. In that case, it's good to know that new mats are easily available.
