External Thermostat and Hygrostat for Smart Life
If you have an Arida Pro S13 or S19 WiFi and want to measure humidity in other parts of the room, you can use this hygrostat to set up scenarios that start and stop the dehumidifier.
- Download the Smart Life app from the App Store or Google Play
- Connect the dehumidifier to the internet via WiFi through Smart Life
- Connect the sensor to the internet via WiFi through the Smart Life app
- Create a "Scene" in Smart Life by pressing "+" in the top right corner
- Select "When device status changes" and "Wii-Fi Temperature & Humidity Sensor"
- Select what to measure, e.g., "Humidity"
- Set when the dehumidifier should act, e.g., if humidity is >60%
- Press "+" under the "Then" tab that appears on the screen, and again select "Control Single Device"
- Select the dehumidifier to be controlled
- Select what to control, e.g., "Power":ON, "Speed":High, "Dehumidification value":CO
- Press "Next" and then "Save".
With this scenario, the dehumidifier will turn on with maximum fan speed if the humidity reaches >60%.
If you want the dehumidifier to turn off again, you must add a corresponding scenario that turns the dehumidifier off. Use the procedure above and replace "Power":ON with "Power":OFF. In this case, no other values (e.g., Speed, Dehumidification value, etc.) need to be controlled since this is only to turn off the dehumidifier.
If you use this external hygrostat to turn off the Arida Pro S13/19 WiFi dehumidifier, this will maintain the dehumidifier's cooling-down interval, which is necessary to cool down the components after dehumidification.

We offer free shipping to your nearest pick-up point on all orders over NOK 999. All orders are shipped within 24 hours of ordering, provided it is a regular working day.
Normally, you will have your goods at the pick-up point 1-3 days after we have received your order. We will send you a tracking number when the package leaves our warehouse, and the carrier will notify you when the package can be picked up.
