Dehumidifier with built-in pump
If you don't have a drain nearby, or the sink is higher than the dehumidifier, you can use a pump to direct the water where you want it. The pump is included! You also get a longer 3-meter hose to pump the water up and away to where you can dispose of it. The pump has a maximum lift height of 5 meters!
Hose included
If you have a drain nearby, you can drain the water with a hose. This is included. The water will then flow by gravity into the drain.
Full control
The dehumidifier can be controlled via an app on your phone (Apple and Android). You can also control it from the panel if you don't want to use the app. The app used is a common app also used by a lot of other electronic equipment. So if you have other home electronics, you can most likely use the same app for several of your devices. The "Smart Life" app covers dehumidifiers, humidifiers, fans, lighting, refrigerators, and many other devices that are now on the way.
The app allows you to:
- start and stop the dehumidifier
- get information about the humidity in the room where the dehumidifier is located
- adjust fan speed
- activate child lock
- adjust the humidistat
- and other useful features
Enormous drying capacity
Rohan is a large and heavy dehumidifier (18 kg - 620 x 375 x 260 mm). It has wheels if you want to move it, and it also has carrying handles if you want to lift it. This large dehumidifier has a very large drying capacity of 50 liters. You can compare this to a "normal" dehumidifier which has a capacity of 10, 12 or 20 liters per day. Rohan's capacity of 50 liters is 2-3 times larger than a "normal" large dehumidifier.
Rohan has a compressor, and the drying capacity is reduced at lower temperatures. However, the starting point is so high that even if the capacity drops to 10 - 20% of the nominal capacity, it is still enough to keep all Norwegian homes dry.
Temperature range
The Rohan dehumidifier can be used in a temperature range from 5 to 35 degrees Celsius. It is most effective at room temperature, but due to its extremely large drying capacity, it will be better than most other dehumidifiers even in basements down to 5 degrees. If you go below 5 degrees, you should consider a desiccant dehumidifier, but most people have a minimum of 5 - 10 degrees in their basement.
Large 7-liter water tank
The water tank is very large, holding 7 liters of water. It is easy to remove and insert, and it has a carrying handle for transport to the sink/drain. It is an advantage that the tank is removed and inserted from the front, so you don't have to turn the dehumidifier every time you empty the water tank.
Humidistat is important
The dehumidifier has a built-in humidistat, so you can keep the humidity under control. You shouldn't have it too humid, but not too dry either. Generally, we recommend keeping the relative humidity between 45% and 55%. You can see the humidity in several ways:
- the color on the front of the dehumidifier shows the humidity level (Green, blue, red)
- display on top shows humidity in percentage
- the app on your phone shows humidity in percentage
Color indicator so you can monitor
It's easy to keep an eye on the humidity level. On the front of the dehumidifier, there is a light strip. This changes color according to the humidity:
- green light indicates humidity between 40% and 60%
- blue light indicates humidity is below 40%
- red light indicates humidity is above 60%

Maintenance
Remember to vacuum the air filter often. Also, vacuum as thoroughly as you can inside behind the filter. This ensures low power consumption and high performance. Beyond this, the dehumidifier requires minimal maintenance.
